Warning gore inside.

Podcast

The irony of this episode coming out in a month of inconvenience is not lost on me. But this month I sat down to talk about general challenges. What motivates and how people deal with set backs. All in the hope of coining the phrase “Rate of inconvenience”

I also had the pleasure of catching up with Zine maker and comic creator Caitlin Cook! I found her work through reddit and bookmarked her for the longest time as someone who I wanted to get on the show but finally we made it work. We talk practicality vs concept. Being an analytical mind in a creative field and asexuality.

Paints

The problem I find with painting is once you do one you tend to have a few ideas for others. If you saw last months letter you will have seen a glimpse of a finished piece but if you’re over on Patreon this week you’ll get an early view of the whole piece as well some cheeky time lapsing.

For now on the newsletter you get just the musing of the idea and knowledge next month i’ll be showing it off!

Sculpture

That thing I mentioned last month? Oh it’s finished and have begun toying with smaller ideas now, small sculpts i might call them having found a very interesting material in the form of “Stucco”. This one I will have to hold onto a little longer as I’m hoping to get some glamour shots of it and maybe even update my seldom used website.

For now have another sneak peak and thank you for being so engaged.

No Kings

I assume if you subscribe to this you know my feeling but I did want to share that I got chance to attend a little event recently and it somewhat restored my hope that America could get back on somewhat the right path one day. It’ll take alot of work but there are nuggets of hope.

So I had a little fall (Warning gore)

You should see the other guy…The other guy is the floor

Yeh so elephant in the room, I fell of a curb. In doing so i sprained both my arms and broke the radial head in my right elbow. Luckily no cast was needed but It does mean I have about two months of recovering to do. And as of right now i cant fully straighten my right arm or lay my hands flat on their backs as my tendons are all jacked.

This is not great I wont lie and is likely going to mean me doing a few less things for the moment which is just not…my style. But I have physio therapy and people on the job so we’ll see where we are in August. Hopefully i’ll be a bit better by then.

But that is all I have to share for now. June I spent mostly sharing old work and working on secret projects for the future. So July and August will be rocking. Likely a good thing I did considering I incapacitate myself. So for now i’m healing and resting and with any hope on the way to a healed bone and nervous system.

Thanks for reading.
