November is here! Who would have thunk it. It’s almost like it comes round around this time every year. I swear check out your calendar It was like three hundred and something days ago.

This year feels a little odd. I didn’t do Inktober. I usually do but to be honest I know i wouldn’t be able and I’d rather not start something creative If I know i’ve no option but to leave it be. So what have I done in oct?

And if you’re unfamiliar with the calendar…what are you doing here? The calendar is a project I began a few years back and have since managed to progress every year. Each year cranking out a colourful (in personality only) cast of animal characters all of whom have grown tired of their day to day and are simply reflecting on what the world had given them. This year is a little special! Due to the issues i’ve had with my hand recently I decided rather than make something brand new I would revisit some classics and see if I could improve on the illustrations from previous editions by reworking them!

It turned out much better than I expected and in doing so gave me an appreciation for how far I have come!

I got Neil Kohney! Was very hype to talk to Neil. He’s a fun chat and I have been loving his comics since I stumbled across them. He’s the creator of the Other Side comics which focus on maddening subversions of your expectations and are very funny! I sat down to talk to him all about that and figure out just where that instinct comes from.

And I also took a moment to talk shop. It’s a bad habit really but I’ve been encouraging bad behaviour for years and it’s about time I owned it. I love watching people explore their own catharsis and just so happens I know how to light a spark some how in people. So this month I sit down to talk how you too can do this and why it’s important to encourage.

Well As you know In Dec I take the month of My podcast and instead focus on rebuilding and reviewing so you can expect in Jan we’ll be back in force but looking for new guests and new works to be shown to you!
