It’s that time again! February was short but impactful and you get an extra day in it so I figured why not use it.

What you may or may not know is that today also marks the 4 year anniversary of a certain Potato based book! More on that below.

Potatropy

In 2020 I put out a book. My first book actually I did it at a live event which I barely remember participating in but I do recall talking alot.

On Feb 29th I published Potatropy a book exploring the origins of Potato Boy a few months later we were in full swing of the Pandemic…The items are unrelated.

So I thought i’d take a moment to acknowledge it. Happy Second anniversary to Potato Boy.

If you didn’t know he’s a character I haven’t played within a while and wish to get back too. But did you know that Potatropy 2 exists? At least in draft form. It’s something I’ve been wanting to pick up again but lets be honest time is fleeting and I want to finish Birt first, my other comic and feel I owe a conclusion to that project at least within a shorter timeframe.

That’s right we did it! It was an interesting day and personally a challenging one but I did find some time to sit, Calm, Cathartic and have a considerate moment. In doing so I created.

Time for the usual round up of episodes as well!

First off Jas Ingram! I got to catch up with a fantastic artist. Jas is a licensed Rat Fink artist and collector of many many trinkets. He’s been known to me for a while as Captain love handles but after a recommendation i couldn’t pass up the chance to call him out and say hello. Also how do we feel about the new thumbnails?

Quickly followed by the solo I took a moment to get indignant about an interaction and reflect on just what our interests say about us!

Elmo

Something I did have an idea for this month was Elmo. Elmo if you didn’t know made a mistake. He went on Twitter and asked how people were doing. It resulted in a collecting unburdening of the world onto him and people speaking honestly about their situations. A world yelling at concrete I couldn’t resist.

Summary

It’s been an interesting month as Leap years tend to be. I’m hoping it wont be four years till the next Potatropy but perhaps it will be. What I do know is i’m working on a couple ideas which I’m liking though are ticking away in the background.
